It would be nice if there was something in here regarding maintaining and improving our streets.
For example, 700 East South of BYU is very narrow, has a serious crown to it, and is very dangerous yet very highly traveled by car and bicycle. With the Joaquin development going in it is going to be an even worse nightmare. When the streets were icy a couple weeks ago there were several cars that got pulled into the side ditch by mere gravity. I'm sure there are other streets that need to be upgraded, widened, repaired, rebuilt etc.
It would be nice if we valued safe, well maintained streets.

I agree with the comment about 700 East south of BYU. It is a very poorly maintained street and needs to be fixed. It is a hazard to all who drive on it. If city planners or road managers would drive on it I believe they would agree. Also, when and how often will the street gutters get cleaned. Just a thought for the city to save some money and reach out to the community. The city could host a "Clean the Gutters" campaign and ask for groups to volunteer to pick up the trash in them, AND RECYCLE all of the material that can be put into a recycle bin instead of just throwing it in the trash and crowding our land fills.

Since we are talking about the future of this city, how about solving the future parking problems by requiring new buildings (weather it be residential or business) and complexes to HAVE A 1 TO 1 PARKING SPOT TO PERSON RATIO !!!!! That would help solve future parking problems. Thank you.
