On 1.1, 1.2 - involve those who wear, display, represent the image of Provo City in the brand identity research. City employees, police, fire, parks, city recreation participants, officials etc. Ask them what would make them proud to wear/display as their brand/design/logo.
Don't reinvent the wheel so to speak. While everyone wants to be distinct, competitive intelligence on branding and image would provide an easy avenue for a beginning from which to build/tweak/redesign. What have other very visible, very successful cities or organizations got that we could use as a base?
I appreciate this forum and these are just my 2 cents. Thank you for all your work on this.
